Kathleen Booth


Kathleen Booth was born July 9th 1922 and died September 29th 2022. Kathleen gained her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of London and in 1950 she earned her PhD in Applied Mathematics. She created the assembly language and the design of the assembler for the first ARC computers at Birkbeck college in London. It was interesting to learn about her an her husband working as a duo on computers.
